Ok here a very quick part 3 of how to get referrals. Reason that this is going to be quick is that I’m typing this on my phone at the moment while trying to eat some lunch so stay with me here.

So you have your EMD and your WordPress site up and running also you have your plugins installed. If not why not get cracking and come back here when you’ve finished. One thing I forgot is also you will need ping.fm plugin installed too.

Ok now you are going to set up a few accounts, the best thing is you will not need to do this again, this doesn’t matter how domains you need. Also if you all ready have the accounts below great. But if you don’t you will need them again there all 100% free.

Set up Your Google Account

Your Google account will be used for your analytics where will also track every visit to you site, also this account is used for your adsense referrals and webmaster control. Without a doubt one of the most important accounts that you need. More inform on how to set up your Google accounts go to

Set up Your Ping.fm Account

Next important account is with ping.fm. This will update 30 social networks for you every time you post a blog. Why use it though. Well first of all the updates all the high ranking sites for giving back links without you thinking about it and again it’s free. Please it gets you site out there it’s only a one off set-up. Yes this will take a bit off time signing up to all the social networks but this is only a one proc

Set up Your WordPress Account

The last but not least is your wordpress.com account. This will be used so that you can use there APIs for other plug-ins saving resources on your server.

So what’s next, well first of all you will need your own top web hosting to host your web domain names and your own Wordpress account. You could use a wordpress.com account but you will be extremely limited to what you can do plus you will have a yoursite.wordpress.com domain. In other words you will need to hosting your own server to place your domain. I personally prefer to use GoDaddy.com Hosting Plans.

With this you can host 25 WordPress domains and unlimited other website all from one hosting account at 1 yes 1 single payment. Great now I have said it payment. At $5 dollars a month for 25 sites that you own and are fully in control of that price so what. You would make that back In Adsense ads alone in few days or even a few clicks so that covers your cost anyways so don’t panic when payment comes into it. So setup your domain and hosting. Then goto godaddy connections and install WordPress this will only take around 10 mins or so.

Once installed, delete the about page “unless you are going to use it”. Also delete the sample post and comment. Why do this, well just think of all the installs that have been done around the world and they haven’t done this all google will see is just another dead blog, and that’s the last thing you want.

Then adjust your setting just how you want then but in the permalink link settings select custom and type this /%category%/%postname%/ to make sure you get the best SEO ” I cover more on this later” this way you can go straight from the word go.

Then you need to install a few plugins which are.

• All-In-One SEO
• Smart tags
• All in One Adsense and YPN
• All in One Webmaster
• Google XML Sitemap
• WPtouch iPhone Theme

The last one is really optional but it will format you site automatically for iPhones and other high end 3g phones that you can get from you local cell phone shop. You could get around 10% – 20% of traffic from these devices. In fact scrap optional it’s crucial. You could now even change your template if you wish but as there is no content it’s little bit tricky. Anyways that’s it for the time being as I feel a little sleepy. So I’m off to bed.
